Proficity is made by Graphx, Inc. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to make your headshots, we delete it quickly, and we never sell it.
What we collect
Your selfie. The photo you choose is uploaded over an encrypted connection to Picsha AI, Inc., our image-processing provider, solely to create your headshots. It is deleted automatically within 30 days — and you can delete it immediately, anytime, with one tap (Settings → Delete everything).
Your email address. Used to create your account when you make a purchase, so your sets stay tied to you and restore across devices. Signing in with Apple may share a private relay address instead of your real one — that's fine with us.
Purchase records. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play together with our payments partner RevenueCat. We never see or store your card details.
Face data
Because your selfie contains your face, here is exactly how face data is handled:
What we collect: the selfie photo you choose to provide — nothing more. We do not create faceprints, facial-geometry maps, biometric templates, or any data used to identify you.
How it is used: solely to generate the professional headshots you request. Each generated image is derived from your photo and delivered back to you.
Where it is stored: your photo is transmitted over an encrypted connection to Picsha AI, Inc., our image-processing provider, and stored on its Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States for processing.
Sharing: your photo is never sold, and never shared with any party other than the service providers listed below, each of which is contractually limited to processing it on our behalf with equivalent protection.
Retention and deletion: source photos are deleted automatically within 30 days of upload. You can delete your photo and all generated data immediately at any time in the app (Settings → Delete everything).
Never used for training: your photos are never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
What we don't do
We never use your photos to train AI models.
We don't sell or rent your personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We show no ads and use no advertising trackers.
Generated images are yours. The headshots you create are saved to your device's photo library. Rendered images are delivered through short-lived links that expire within about 24 hours; after your source photo expires or is deleted, we can't recreate the set — only you have it.
Service providers
We use a small number of processors to run Proficity, each receiving only what it needs to do its job:
Picsha AI, Inc. — image processing
Clerk — account sign-in
RevenueCat — purchase management
Amazon Web Services — hosting
Data retention
Source selfies: deleted automatically within 30 days of upload, or immediately on request.
Account data (email, purchase credits): kept while your account exists; deleted when you delete your account.
Your choices
Delete everything now: Settings → Delete everything, inside the app.

Children
Proficity is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
